This is my 28th year in education. At the present time, I am a lead teacher and also coordinate human capital at TechBoston Academy. My interest in project based learning was the focal point of my doctoral research at Boston College. My content interests are government and civics, as well as an extra focus on ELL learners. I live in Randolph, MA where I also served on the school committee. I am proud to say that I have been at TechBoston since 2005 and have watched the school flourish with it's emphasis on personalization and competency based opportunities!

BRUCE IS A 2022 NEASC SERVICE AWARD RECIPIENT - CONGRATULATIONS!
Bruce is the Human Resource Director for TechBoston Academy in Boston, Massachusetts, and the Accreditation Coordinator for the Boston Public Schools. He has been a Commission on Public Schools member for six years and has served as a chair and assistant chair for visiting teams across New England. TechBoston Academy, where Bruce is a founding faculty member, used the Standards for Accreditation as a roadmap when the school was started in 2002. Bruce has been instrumental in keeping the Standards at the heart of the school, including leading the school through its most recent Accreditation process, which started in 2019.   

Bruce supports Accreditation throughout the Boston Public Schools, acting as a resource for principals and Accreditation Coordinators. He is a champion of Accreditation and a great supporter of this work.
